From chokeberry to stone pine: plant rarities market on April 26 and 27

On the weekend after Easter, the Botanical Garden and the campus meadow at the University of Graz will once again be transformed into a huge rarities fair. Hundred exhibitors offer plants and seeds as well as edibles, selected handicrafts and garden utensils.

Ornamental plants such as flowering shrubs, cacti and rare perennials can be found at the University of Graz's plant rarities market on the grounds of the Botanical Garden in Schubertstraße. Garden fans can browse through fruit trees and shrubs, organic seeds, rare herbs and young vegetable plants next to the main university building on Universitätsplatz.

Admission is free.

Dogs are not allowed on the grounds of the Botanical Garden, with the exception of assistance dogs.

If possible, the University of Graz asks you to arrive by bike or public transport.
