The students at the University of Graz will have the chance to finish their classes with an exam by the end of June 2020. The assessments will be taken online to avoid any risks to their healths. The University has prepared three different solutions to support the lectureres.
Open book exams via Moodle
Lecturers can upload tasks on the platform Moodle. The students have to fulfill them within a given deadline. They can either do that online using a specific software or upload scans or pictures of the handwritten exam.
Tests with „Perception“
The software „Perception“ is already used for electronic testing at the university. This time the students can sit their exams at home within a given time frame. Perception allows multiple choice as well als open book tests or a combination of both.
Oral exams via Skype4Business
Skype4Business is an efficient tool for oral exams. A stable internet link is required, though.
The platform Moodle offers a variety of possibilites for classes with continuous assessment.
